As well as the artwork I grew up with...Cantabrian landscapes in the style of the time, we discovered these artworks after Ray passed away.
Still life painted at Canterbury School of Arts 1947.
Ray was part of "the Group" of painters at that time in the school best known by Bill Sutton.
Other important painters around that era were Bill Sutton, Ivy Fife, Rita Angus.
